On July 01, 2021, Oxfam in Southern Africa transitioned into a Regional Operating Model where all programmes are being coordinated/managed regionally while key staff have strategically been multi-located in the four countries of Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. This model is expected to support our intention to operate beyond the four countries and covering Southern Africa Development Community (SADC)countriesthrough strategic partnerships.
Oxfam in Southern Africa is part of a movement in Southern Africa working with the most vulnerable and poor sections of our society so that they can challenge and advocate for the transformation of our growth and development models. This regional strategy framework sets out our commitment, over the next five years, to a just and sustainable future for all people in Southern Africa
